Art of Bronze is honored to have partnered with the City of Colleyville, Texas, to provide “High Hopes,” a monumental bronze sculpture celebrating childhood, friendship, and the limitless possibilities of youth. Serving as the centerpiece of the beautifully landscaped roundabout at the intersection of John McCain Road and Westcoat Drive, this inspiring public artwork has become a cherished landmark within the community.
Standing over 7½ feet tall, the sculpture features four children—two boys and two girls—interacting atop a massive bronze rock pedestal. Every figure has been thoughtfully composed to tell a heartwarming story of kindness, imagination, and hope.
At the base of the sculpture, a young boy warmly presents a bouquet of flowers to a young girl standing above him on the rock. Her joyful smile reflects the innocence and appreciation that define childhood friendships. Behind them, an older girl sits quietly, her attention drawn toward something fascinating below, adding a sense of curiosity and wonder to the scene.
Rising above the group is the oldest boy, confidently standing at the summit of the rock with his arm extended toward the sky as he releases a dove into flight. This powerful image symbolizes freedom, peace, hope, and the endless dreams that inspire future generations.
