Art of Bronze is proud to offer “The Bronco Buster” (13.75” H.) bronze statue after Frederic Remington. This unique ‘credenza’ size is sure to meet your personal or corporate gift needs. The “Bronco Buster” was Frederic Remington’s first bronze sculpture. It has since come to symbolize all that is triumphant and heroic of the American West. The “Bronco Buster” reflects Remington’s attention to detail, along with his ingenious rendering of intense movement combined with a delicate sense of balance. It has been on display in the oval office of the White House beginning with Theodore Roosevelts presidency.
Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861- 1909) was an American painter, illustrator, sculptor and writer who specialize in depicting the American Old West. Remington produced 22 bronze sculptures cast in editions during his lifetime.
Each bronze sculpture is cast in the ‘lost wax’ method and hand finished to capture excellent texture and detail throughout the entire sculpture. Custom fit marble bases are attached to each sculpture. A bronze plaque with etched lettering featuring the title of the sculpture and Remington’s name is available to attach to the front or backside of the marble base.
