This fine gilded bronze sculpture features a vintage European double-seater sports-racing car.  The right-hand driver and riding mechanic are fully focused as their car races over rough terrain.  A great sense of speed and danger are captured in this incredible automotive bronze statue.

After the First World War, the world was anxious to return to automotive racing.  The next ten years became a period of intense technical interest and engine development.    During this period, the two-seater team driver would come to an end.

This sculpture is cast in the ‘lost wax’ process and hand finished in a custom patina coloring.  Each sculpture can be attached to a custom marble base for an additional fee.

Art of Bronze is comprised of artisans, craftsmen and dedicated professionals that will guide you through the maintenance and delivery of your new sculpture.  Call Art of Bronze today at (805) 908-5355 to learn more about our classical automotive bronze statues artwork, automotive mascot bronze sculptures, bronze car racing statue, grand prix Le Mans car bronze statue and monumental bronze hood ornament bronze statue artwork.

  • Maintenance

Bronze lasts forever and will never rust, warp or contort. It is an alloy (a mixture of metals) and will oxidize over the years. This process will not hurt the statue. In fact, it can enhance the beauty by turning the statue many wonderful shades of greens, blues, whites and yellows. For the client that wants to maintain the original patina/coloring of their newly acquired work of art, Art of Bronze has several secrets. Every statue and placement will have different requirements and it is best to discuss your needs with Art of Bronze.
