This distinguished memorial features an American bald eagle statue mounted atop a finely crafted limestone wall, forming a commanding and dignified focal point.
With its wings fully outstretched, the eagle grasps a sculpted bronze globe, powerfully symbolizing strength, unity, and freedom. Lining the limestone wall are the names of the men and women from Middlesex County who served in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and post-Vietnam conflicts, ensuring their legacy is permanently preserved and honored.
Further enhancing the memorial, two soldiers are carved directly into the limestone, along with emblems representing the six branches of the United States Armed Forces, uniting all who served under a single, timeless tribute. Tremendous care, engineering, and craftsmanship were invested to ensure the eagle sculpture remains securely positioned atop the narrow granite ledge—balancing both artistic vision and structural integrity. I was honored to create this custom eagle for such a meaningful memorial.
