Art of Bronze was honored to be commissioned to custom create the bronze statue monument, “Service & Sacrifice – Vietnam War Memorial Sculpture,” for the Vietnamese American Community of Georgia and the Atlanta Vietnam Veterans Business Association.
Dedicated on October 5, 2024, in Brook Run Park, Dunwoody, Georgia, this monumental bronze serves as a powerful and enduring tribute to the brave soldiers who fought and sacrificed during the Vietnam War. The memorial stands as a testament to courage, resilience, and the shared history between Vietnamese American families and United States service members.
Positioned near the DeKalb Veterans Memorial, this installation further enriches the area’s commitment to honoring military service and preserving the legacy of those who served. It has become a meaningful gathering place for reflection, remembrance, and community connection.
Art of Bronze extends its sincere appreciation to Paul Ward of Paul Ward Photography for graciously permitting the use of his exceptional photographs taken during the dedication ceremony.

Vietnam War Memorial – Paul E. Ward
The monument features two soldiers standing side by side—a symbol of unity and shared sacrifice. The American Infantry soldier is depicted in full military gear, including a helmet with insect repellent secured in the outer band, jungle boots, and an M16 rifle held firmly in his hands. The incredible attention to detail is evident in the soldier’s gear: a first aid pouch on his suspenders, a canteen, ammo pouches, and a grenade securely fastened to his belt, all meticulously rendered in bronze.
Standing beside him is a soldier from the former Republic of South Vietnam, also equipped with an M16 rifle held in both hands. He is dressed in a camouflage uniform, complete with a helmet and jungle boots. His belt is outfitted with two grenades, a smoke canister, an ammo pouch, and a canteen, mirroring the readiness and resilience of his American counterpart.
This memorial stands as a solemn reminder of the immense cost of war, commemorating the more than 300,000 Vietnamese and 58,000 American soldiers who lost their lives during the conflict. It serves not only as a tribute to the soldiers’ courage but also as an enduring honor to their families, ensuring that their sacrifices are never forgotten.
This memorial is a poignant reminder of the shared history between nations and the enduring impact of those who served. Art of Bronze is proud to have contributed to this significant and meaningful tribute.
