Art of Bronze invites you to own this exquisite masterpiece featuring a bald eagle that just landed on a branch.  Its’ outstretched wings create a symbolic feeling of freedom.   The polished beak and talons with white head and tail feathers makes this sculpture stand out from the others.  This superb late 19th century aftercast bronze eagle sculpture was originally done by Jules Moigniez.

Jules Moigniez (28 May 1835 – 29 May 1894) was a French animalier sculptor who primarily cast in bronze and frequently exhibited his sculptures at the Paris Salon.  He was best known for his bronzes depicting birds, although his skill and versatility enabled him to produce quality horse sculptures (primarily racehorses), dog sculptures and hunting scenes.  His bird sculptures were among the finest ever created in his time.

Each sculpture is cast in the ‘lost wax’ process and hand finished in a custom patina coloring.  Each sculpture is attached to a beautiful black or green marble base which fits perfectly for any desk, drawer, side table or hall table.

Art of Bronze is comprised of artisans, craftsmen and dedicated professionals that will guide you through the maintenance and delivery of your new sculpture.  Art of Bronze is not an overnight online operation.  We specialized in custom commissions and can create any concept or idea you have into bronze.  We have decades of experience working with developers, city agencies, shopping centers, art in public places and school administrations.  Call Art of Bronze today at (805) 908-5355 to learn more about our beautiful eagle sculptures.

  • Patina / Coloring

Art of Bronze is known for its exclusive and beautiful patinas. We specialize in creating traditional patinas of brown, burgundy, green (verde) or a brown & verde green combination. We are also experts in creating exotic colors. Let the Art of Bronze enhance the wonderful quality and detail of your new sculpture with our world-class patinas. • Maintenance

Bronze lasts forever and will never rust, warp or contort. It is an alloy (a mixture of metals) and will oxidize over the years. This process will not hurt the statue. In fact, it can enhance the beauty by turning the statue many wonderful shades of greens, blues, whites and yellows. For the client that wants to maintain the original patina/coloring of their newly acquired work of art, Art of Bronze has several secrets. Every statue and placement will have different requirements and it is best to discuss your needs with Art of Bronze.
