Art of Bronze invites you to own this smaller version bronze eagle masterpiece after superb late 19th century artist Jules Moigniez.  The bald eagle has just landed on a branch with beautifully detailed outstretched wings.  This version features a polished beak and talons with a traditional brown patina coloring.  Cast in the ‘Lost Wax’ process to ensure a quality sculpture that may be passed down from generation to generation.  This eagle is a great focal point for your office or home that will accent any décor.

Jules Moigniez (28 May 1835 – 29 May 1894) was a French animalier sculptor who primarily cast in bronze and frequently exhibited his sculptures at the Paris Salon.  He was best known for his bronzes depicting birds, although his skill and versatility enabled him to produce quality horse sculptures (primarily racehorses), dog sculptures and hunting scenes.  His bird sculptures were among the finest ever created in his time.

Each sculpture is attached to a beautiful black or green marble base which fits perfectly for any desk, drawer, side table or hall table. Call Art of Bronze today at (805) 908-5355 to learn more about our beautiful bird sculptures.

  • Patina / Coloring

Art of Bronze is known for its exclusive and beautiful patinas. We specialize in creating traditional patinas of brown, burgundy, green (verde) or a brown & verde green combination. We are also experts in creating exotic colors. Let the Art of Bronze enhance the wonderful quality and detail of your new sculpture with our world-class patinas. • Maintenance

Bronze lasts forever and will never rust, warp or contort. It is an alloy (a mixture of metals) and will oxidize over the years. This process will not hurt the statue. In fact, it can enhance the beauty by turning the statue many wonderful shades of greens, blues, whites and yellows. For the client that wants to maintain the original patina/coloring of their newly acquired work of art, Art of Bronze has several secrets. Every statue and placement will have different requirements and it is best to discuss your needs with Art of Bronze.
