Art of Bronze invites you to own this handsome bronze sculpture of a walking grizzly bear.  This brown bear bronze sculpture has exquisitely sculpted claws, fur and anatomy.  Imagine this lifelike, detailed grizzly bear sculpture on your desk, credenza, coffee table or end table greeting all guests and visitors.  He walks sturdy with his front leg extending forward.  This bear sculpture comes attached to a beautiful rectangular base.

The grizzly bear is a kind of brown bear.  In North America there are two subspecies of brown bear (Ursus arctos): the Kodiak bear, which occurs only on the islands of the Kodiak Archipelago, and the grizzly bear, which occurs everywhere else. Brown bears also occur in Russia, Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia.

Around 60,000 wild grizzly bears are located throughout North America, 30,000 of which are found in Alaska and up to 29,000 live in Canada.  Populations in Alaska are densest along the coast, where food supplies such as salmon are more abundant.
