Art of Bronze is pleased to offer this spectacular roaring grizzly bear bronze statue. This exquisitely sculpted grizzly bear has his head thrusted forward with a bellowing open mouth exposing ferocious teeth. The bear bust is affixed to a sturdy marble base.
The grizzly bear is a kind of brown bear. In North America there are two subspecies of brown bear (Ursus arctos): the Kodiak bear, which occurs only on the islands of the Kodiak Archipelago, and the grizzly bear, which occurs everywhere else. Brown bears also occur in Russia, Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia.
Around 60,000 wild grizzly bears are located throughout North America, 30,000 of which are found in Alaska and up to 29,000 live in Canada. Populations in Alaska are densest along the coast, where food supplies such as salmon are more abundant.

Each bronze sculpture is cast in the ‘lost wax’ method and hand finished to capture excellent texture and detail throughout the entire sculpture. Custom-fitted black or green marble bases can be attached to each sculpture. Additionally, we can affix bronze plaques with etched lettering to the front or backside of the marble base.
